MASTER PAINTERS AUSTRALIA

Trade Training

Trade Training (RTO No:30048)

The Master Painters Association of Queensland has been a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) since 1998. An industry based training organisation, we deliver qualified training and assessments to members, affiliated industry providers, tradesman and the general public within the painting and decorating industry.

Established by painters, for painters, we understand the skills that are required to maintain and exceed a professional standard in the painting and decorating industry.

In 2007, we opened the Master Painters Queensland Training Centre. We began by training apprentices in the Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.

Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship combines both classroom training with on the job industry experience. The course is usually completed over a three to four year period. Successful completion of the course results in the attainment of a full trade qualification.

Apprenticeships allow young people to earn while they learn by taking advantage of employment and training opportunities. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to land a prosperous career. We currently offer:

  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating

Skills Assessment (RPL)

Skills Assessment (RPL) is an assessment process that matches the skills and knowledge you’ve gained through previous ‘informal’ learning, whether through education or training, or through work and life experience, to the

Australian industry standards for the Certificate III in Painting & Decorating. Trade-qualified trainers who hold a Certificate IV in Assessment and Training conduct all of our training. Additionally, each trainer has a minimum of 15 years’ industry experience.
