In 2007, Master Painters Training created a purpose built centre for the Painting & Decorating industry that allows apprentices to be
trained and assessed in a simulated workplace environment.
How is College Training Delivered?
College based training is delivered in 5 stages over a 3 week training block. These blocks are set over a 3 year period. Master Painters Training
are flexible in the development of an apprentice's block release. We works closely with an employer to develop a training plan that is
constructive to their own work schedule.
There are many benefits to this model of training. College training allows the apprentice to train in a simulated work environment, as well
as being exposed to a range of different techniques that are current within the industry, as well as gaining tips from our experienced trainers.
The comradery and friendships that are developed over the years of training last for a lifetime. Apprentices learn, how to intereact
and have exposure to all aspects of the Painting & Decorating industry under one roof.
Why Choose Master Painters?
The MPA is currently one of the only RTO's capable of delivering onsite training to all apprentices throughout Queensland. The MPA is an approved
RTO provider able to offer the elective competencies required to meet the full requirements of the QBCC. Our recommendation is to complete
"BSBSMB401 - Establish legal and risk management" and "CPCCSP3003A Apply trowelled texture coat finishes". These chosen electives help ready
your apprentice if they wish to become QBCC licenced in the future.
But more than this, the MPA is synonymous with best-in-class standards of trade craftsmanship and ethical codes of practice.
An accreditation from the MPA is the best possible way of beginning one’s career as a painter and decorator.
