Master Painters provides an independant inspection service for those circumstances where you maybe having a dispute with a painting contractor, or have had a painting project completed and are not satisfied with the result. This service is available to all including painting contractors who are in dispute with a client and seek an independant view.

It is important to note that this service comprises a written report that can be provided to the other party, the Building Services Authority or used to assist in legal action. Our inspectors are industry qualified and their reports are accepted by the Building Services Authority and Building Tribunal in Queensland. Note carefully:- The Master Painters Association is not a regulatory body or enforcement authority. We can recommend that painters follow our advice however it is only the Building Services Authority that can, by law, take direct action against contractors in Queensland. This service is available in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast only.

A standard report costs $475-00 inclusive of GST for a single dwelling in Brisbane. Travel costs on top of the above fee will apply outside the metropolitan area and multiple dwellings will be quoted on the size and scope of inspection required. A request form is available from our office and must be fully completed and returned with the full payment. Please allow a turn around of two - three weeks from receipt of the request with the payment.
